ADULT DAY CARE FRANCHISING WITH TOWN SQUARE

Town Square Franchising began as an idea from experienced senior care professionals to fill an untapped franchise niche in the national elder care market and is based on The George G. Glenner Alzheimer’s Family Centers, Inc.® original Town Square® model of care. Now, we’re redefining what adult day care services can offer, and as we expand, we’re looking for franchisees across the country! We’ll help you find out why adult day care franchising could be right for you.

We provide an incredible opportunity for people who want to make a difference in their communities by running an effective senior care business, and we don’t require prospective franchise owners to have any medical or senior care background.

The Town Square model of care is based on the innovative work of The George G. Glenner Alzheimer’s Family Centers, Inc.®; a San Diego-based non-profit organization that runs 3 specialized adult day centers for individuals with Alzheimer’s and related dementias. In 2018, they opened the first-ever reminiscence therapy adult day care for individuals with dementia called Town Square®.

The Glenner Centers were founded in 1982 by Dr. George G. Glenner and his wife, Joy Glenner. Dr. Glenner was a pioneering Alzheimer’s disease researcher at the University of California, San Diego, and his tireless work produced breakthroughs in the study of dementia such as identifying the beta-amyloid protein, which is now known to be the hallmark of Alzheimer’s. Due to Dr. Glenner’s research, the Glenners developed a compassionate interest in the issues facing people with dementia, their caregivers, and their families. It was thanks to their concern that the George G. Glenner Alzheimer’s Family Centers, Inc.® were founded.

Current studies have shown that people with various forms of dementia best retain memories from their formative years – from their teens through their twenties. Town Square locations are set up to physically resemble an American small town from the middle of the 20th century – the same time period when people who are at risk for dementia today were in their young adulthood.

Although dementia has no known cure, Town Square’s programs have been shown to relieve symptoms such as poor sleep quality, low or depressed mood, restlessness, and agitation.

Town Square is the most innovative company in the growing industry of senior day center franchising, and our franchises are highly scalable, have tremendous income potential, and draw customers year-round. But most importantly, our model works for seniors – we’re proud to make a difference in the lives of our members and their families and serve as an important resource to our surrounding communities

IS A SENIOR CARE FRANCHISE A GOOD INVESTMENT?

Yes – franchising in the senior care industry is a good business move that is also good for the people in the surrounding communities. Town Square is committed to our franchisees, providing the support they need for their locations and members to thrive as well as offering a variety of territories that cover some of the biggest markets in the country for senior services.

Town Square offers business-minded people across the country a tremendous senior care franchise opportunity – the chance to own a business that stands out, draws recurring revenue, and leads in a field that is projected to grow significantly in the coming years.

Demographic research shows that the population of senior citizens in the United States is rapidly increasing as people live longer on average. The seniors of today and tomorrow, as well as their loved ones and caregivers, stand to benefit greatly if new, innovative, and helpful care resources are made available in their local areas. Town Square is exactly the kind of business that is well-positioned for this aging population wave across the country.

Town Square was founded by highly experienced senior care professionals from Senior Helpers, a leading nationwide provider of home care services. We know our industry, and we know how to stand out and make a change for the better in our communities.

A HIGHLY PROFITABLE INDUSTRY

Senior care is close to a $65 billion industry in the United States, with a 2.5% market size growth rate year-over-year throughout the past five years. With more and more of the American population aging, a Town Square location is potentially one of the most profitable senior care franchise opportunities available in one of the most profitable industries.

A REWARDING BUSINESS

Town Square locations have a significant positive impact for nearby seniors and their families. The care we’re able to provide through our unique model fosters community relationships, makes our members’ lives more fulfilling, and gives relief and peace of mind to their loved ones. Owning a Town Square location means you can make a real difference – you’ll be able to see that on the smiling faces of your members.

VALUABLE, COLLABORATIVE PARTNERSHIPS

Town Square is founded on strategic partnerships with Senior Helpers and the George G. Glenner Alzheimer’s Family Centers. With the backing of a national leader in the industry as well as the originators of reminiscence therapy, you can feel secure that you’ll get the education, support, and resources you need to run your Town Square location effectively, form loyal customer relationships, and deliver the highest quality of services to your local seniors.

ONGOING SUPPORT

All of our franchisees receive comprehensive support from the Town Square corporation – we want to ensure you’re successful in all aspects of your franchise.

INNOVATIVE, FRESH CONCEPTS CUSTOMERS LOVE

All of our programming staff has industry-leading training on engagement, inclusion, and stimulating conversation prompts for people of varying levels of cognitive ability, as well as in CDC guidelines for adult day care health and safety. More than that, we’re determined to help our members’ families and caretakers understand how to engage with their loved ones better according to their needs and wants. And all of our facilities have a registered nurse on-site, feature elder-accessible layouts, and adhere strictly to state and national cleanliness and health statutes.
